You can reach us by car, bus or train – a bus stop is right outside the house. With the Guest Pass, you can use buses and trains throughout South Tyrol free of charge.
Begin your journey from Germany via the cities of Munich, Rosenheim and Innsbruck and head south into Italy. Take the A22 Brenner motorway and leave it at the Brixen/Pustertal exit. Continue towards Bruneck, where you turn off into the Ahrntal Valley. In Steinhaus, follow the main road throughout. At the Klausberg valley station you are not there yet – carry on for about another kilometre. On the right you will spot the Koflhaus straight away by the large logo on the façade.
Alternatively, you can reach us from Germany via the Fernpass: drive from Füssen via Reutte and over the Fernpass, then follow the Inn Valley to Innsbruck – and from there continue south over the Brenner as described above.
If you are coming from the south, drive via Modena, Verona and Bozen and take the Brixen/Pustertal exit on the A22 Brenner motorway. Follow the route to Bruneck and on into the Ahrntal Valley. In winter, winter tires are mandatory, and snow chains should also be carried in the vehicle to ensure a safe arrival.
Travel by train from Germany via Munich, Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass to Franzensfeste. Change there onto the Pustertal railway to Bruneck. In Bruneck, take the bus into the Ahrntal Valley. Stay on the bus until the Kropfhaus stop – it lies a little beyond the centre of Steinhaus. From there it is only a few steps to the Koflhaus.
Travel by train from the south via Bologna, Verona and Trento to Bozen. From there take the train towards the Brenner Pass, change onto the Pustertal railway at Franzensfeste and continue to Bruneck. In Bruneck, take the bus into the Ahrntal Valley. Stay on the bus until the Kropfhaus stop – it lies a little beyond the centre of Steinhaus. From there it is only a few steps to the Koflhaus.
